What does an extended license mean at Cutcaster?
* Extended licensing options are a fixed, flat-rate system that's easier to use and understand. It's the best value with the most rights for the greatest freedom over how you use your image or illustration from Cutcaster.
* Straight-forward availability. Most of our contributors have opted in their portfolios or individual images for extended license availability, making it easier for you to get the image you need with all the rights that your project demands. You can search specifically for images opted-in to the Extended License program from the Advanced Search menu in black search area. And you can always contact: content@cutcaster.com if the image you want isn't opted into the Extended License Program, and we'll try to help.
Cutcaster's Extended License options allow you more flexibility and greater usage freedom with the images you download from us. The licensing options have been simplified, giving you the freedom and piece of mind you require for any project.
Select the Extended License Options from the menu at the top of the Media Details page, above the standard Content License Agreement. Select the options you need from the menu to amend the standard Content License Agreement. Then review the provisions, check “I Agree” and download the file.
Extended License Options Images & Illustrations
Unlimited Reproduction / Print Runs $75 or 75 credits
Multi-Seat License:
unlimited users $40 or 40 credits
Items for Resale
(limited run) $50 or 50 credits
Electronic Items for Resale
(unlimited run) $50 or 50 credits
All above licenses rolled into one $200 or 200 credits
Contributors will receive a percentage of the royalty payouts for any extended licenses they sell based on whether the content is exclusive (50% payout) or non-exclusive (40% payout) at Cutcaster.
